Arun Valley

Arun Valley truly is non Touristic Trekking Area in Nepal; even it is less tourist area it was recognized before Makalu Barun National Park to stabilized in 1992. Trekking in the valley between Kanchanjungha and Mt. Everest has rich variety of Natural beauty and culture diversity. The mid Eastern part of permanent habitants the   Rai, Limbu and Sherpa are the population found in this area. Even it is said less touristic area, the Arun valley have significant Mountain views of Makalu, Mera peak, Lhotse and Mt.Everest.

The holy Salpa Lake (3414m.) is worshipped by both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage in August. Which is also believed having bath in this holy lake is the way of salvation from the sin you have committed.The holy lake Salpa is also popularly known to visit the Tamang and Rai Samans and their ritual performance during the holy festival in August. Trekking is started at Tumlingtar and finished either Lukla or to Jiri, (The entrance of classical Everest trek before Lukla airport was in operation.


Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu.
You are welcomed by hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to hotel. Our airport representative will explain briefly the program upon arrival. Overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Trek preparation and Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
Sightseeing of world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath Stupa & Pashupatinath Temple. Overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Flight to Tumlingtar.
Day 04: Trek to Kartike.
Day 05: Trek to Gothe.
Day 06: Trek to Phedi.
Day 07: Trek to Guranse.
Day 08: Trek to Salpa.
Day 09: Trek Sanam.
Day 10: Trek to Bung.
Day 11: Trek to Gaikharka.
Day 12: Trek to Vasme.
Day 13: Pagum.
Day 14: Trek to Painya.
Day 15: Trek to Lukla.
Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu.
Day 17: Visit Bhaktapur & Patan, an ancient kingdom. Evening traditional dinner in a local restaurant.
Day 17:Final departure to your onward destination.
