Bhairav Kunda Trek


Bhairav Kund – The holy Lake named after a destructive aspect of Lord Shiva the "Bhairav". "Bhairav Kund Trek" is located to the northeast of Kathmandu, near Nepal - Tibet border. After 4 hours bus ride we arrive at the trek starting point Jalbire. This is a traditional small town inhabited by "Newari" people.

In our 10 days trip, we observe the different ways of Nepali life, culture and personal contact with the people in those small villages. The top of Bhairav kund Trek offers an excellent view of Rowling range, Jugal Himal range and some of the Tibetan mountains. On the last day of the trip we take a bus ride back to Kathmandu from Larche. Clients are suggested to spend one day at The Last resort (which is a fun adventure offering resort. Bungee jump, Swing, Cannoning are some of the exciting trip you could enjoy during your stay at the Last Resort.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu.
You are welcomed by hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to hotel. Our airport representative will explain briefly the program upon arrival. Overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Trek preparation and Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
Sightseeing of world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath Stupa & Pashupatinath Temple. Overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu - Jalbire, 1000m.By bus 4-5 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Chanaute 1350m, 4.30hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Khani Gaon, 2000m. 6hrs.
Day 06: Rest day, visit around the village.
Day 07: Trek to Forest Camp, 3150m. 6.30hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Pati 3765m.5hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Bhairav Kunda, 4200m. 3.30hrs.
Day 10: Trek to Sherpa Gaon, 2500m. 6/7 hrs.
Day 11: Trek to Larcha, 1500m.Overnight Last Resrot.
Day 12: Drive to Kathmandu.
Day 13: Sightseeing Bhaktapur and Patan, an ancient kingdom in Kathmandu valley.
Day 14:Final departure to your onward destination.
